2013 City Champions and 2013 8u Georgia State Runner Up. Collier Park Steelers! In 2012, I was introduced to the offense via your website. My 6 and under team went 20-3 (We played in two leagues). In both leagues we made it to the championship without an elite running back.

I took over a team this year that never won a game. Implemented your play book and now we are champions. Thanks a lot! I now look like an offensive genius.

Dear Coach Johnson,
We had a wonderful season installing and running the Double Wing. It made a huge difference in our team. This was our first year running the system. We had three different age groups: 3rd and 4th grade, 5th and 6th grade, and 7th and 8th grade.

We had no problems installing and running the system. We didn't encounter any problem defenses. The only teams that gave us problems were those with exceptional players on defense.

The reverse was a "killer play for us", we also had a lot of success with the counters. The beauty of the Double Wing is that the plays set each other up. We will definitely be running the Double Wing in 2014. All of our teams are in the semi finals. Our 7th and 8th grade team is unbeaten.

We ran the Double Wing system in 2013 with both our 7 & 8 year olds and 12 & 13 year olds. We had no problems installing the system or running the system.

Our most successful play was the Wedge for the 7 & 8's and the Power for the 12 & 13's. We had a few problems with our passing game, mostly because we didn't practice the pass much. Yes we'll be running the Double Wing in 2014.

We had a fantastic season with both our teams. The 7 & 8's went 8-0 averaging 37.5 points a game. The 12 & 13's won the Monsters of the Midwest tournament averaging 27 points a game.

I've been running the Double Wing for several years (1st year at this school). I coached High School Varsity. Most of my seniors (6) had been playing since freshmen year. We had no problems installing the system.

Our toughest district opponent (30 game win streak and 3 SC's in a row!) gave our balanced look fits with a true split (3' & 7's) bc the 7 techs were much bigger and stronger than our TE who by rule was down blocking on him. They beat us in district play 34-16. When we went UB we added a "Tight" tag to our G scheme. We had PSWB block OLB and TE wall CB and had our huge SG kickout the 7 tech. Beat them in the semi's 16-8 bc of that.

Defense! (just kidding). Obviously power and "g" were our "go to work plays" but wedge was VERY successful 141/906 and 11 TD's, but when we went UB the weakside sweeps and ctr's were huge. Always ran strong side to our sideline so we had weakside to the field and I could read the strong side edge.

We will be running the system in 2014. We ended up 12-1 overall. District runner up (toughest district pound for pound in the state, 4/5 in the playoffs). Playoff bid (4 seed) with first round bye. New Mexico Class AA State Champs!

We didn't start running the Double Wing until late in the season. We were 2-4 when we started running the system. We went 1-1 the final two games. We won our last game 31-0 and had 350 yards rushing and scored 5 touchdowns.

Our team consisted of 11 & 12 year olds. We installed the system in one practice session. Off that one practice, we went from less than 100 yards per game to 279 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. We only ran the system 2 weeks, but in those 2 games we were very tough to stop. Our most successful plays were the Wedge and Power plays. However, all of the plays worked well.

Will we be running the Double Wing in 2014? Oh yeah, my parents and players are super excited about the upcoming season. In the 2 games we ran the system, we averaged over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Coach Johnson,

We installed and ran the Double Wing in the 2013 season. Our team consisted of 9 to 11 year olds. The only problem we had installing the system was teaching the linemen the blocking schemes.

We didn't have any problems with the defenses we faced. We had success with all of the plays, but we used the Wedge very well. We will difinitely be running the system in 2014. We went 5-2 last year in the regular season and 2-0 in the playoffs. Our conference doesn't have a "championship", but we ended the season with the best won/loss record in our conference.

We ran the Double Wing last year with our 5th and 6th graders. We had to stop pulling the tackles, but that was the only adjustment we made. We lost in the semi-finals to the eventual champion. We ended up the seasons as one of the best teams in the league.

We ran the Double Wing in 2013 with our 10 & 11 year olds. We've been running the system for 3 years. The only problem we run into is player assignment breakdowns. The only defense that gave us problems was a team running a 4-7. We had to make some adjustment with our pullers.

We had the most success with the counters, pretty play. We will be running the system in 2014. We finished up 5-3, one spot out of the playoffs for the second year in a row.

We ran the Double Wing in 2013 with our 9 year old team. We had a minor problem installing the system. The QB turn and toss and the blocking scheme was a challenge at first, but through reps we smoothed everything out.

After smoothing out everything, we had no problem running the system. The 43 Counter was our most successful play. We will be running the system in 2014. Our overall record was 5-5.
